the albergue in ventosa was even better than my previous stay. the owner's small store was convenient, and the hostelera took amazing care of me. the facilities were clean and comfortable, and the self-service laundry was a big plus.
No table or chair in the room.

The location is quite remote, with no other shops or facilities nearby. There are limited dining options, with only two restaurants offering pilgrim meals in the village. Additionally, there is no shop for those who prefer to cook their own meals.
The rooms can be quite chilly and sheets are not provided for private rooms, forcing guests to use their own sleeping bags.

Comfortable beds and clean toilets, which were a plus. The location of the hotel was convenient, as it was situated in a cute little town.
The description of the hotel was misleading. The staff was unwelcoming, with strict rules that made non-El Camino walkers feel unwelcome.

As bike riders, we appreciated the convenient location and affordable restaurants nearby. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The beautiful back garden and well-equipped kitchen were a bonus. The laundry facilities were efficient, allowing us to quickly dry our clothes in the sun. The albergue had a unique and thoughtful decor that reflected the Camino experience. The Compostela framed on the wall added a touch of authenticity. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The small shop provided everything we needed for cooking. the albergue provided a tranquil and welcoming space.
Felt exceptional, nothing to complain about.

The albergue felt like a home, with a kind hospitalero. There was a beautiful garden area for relaxing, and the showers were nice and hot. I slept really well, which is rare on the Camino. There were well-ventilated rooms with windows to open. I loved being able to buy fresh veggies from the owner and cook my own meal. The hippy feeling with the incense was great. it was my favorite place so far.
Felt very relaxed, no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay at this albergue in Ventosa. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the host was kind and helpful. The albergue itself was beautiful, like a home, with a lovely courtyard and garden area for relaxing. The facilities were clean and comfortable, providing a great night's rest. The kitchen and laundry facilities were excellent, making it convenient for us to cook and do laundry. We also appreciated the fact that there were only six beds in our room, providing a more comfortable and peaceful sleeping environment.
Could not be improved in any way 😊

We had a wonderful experience at Albergue San Saturnino. The decor was thoughtful, with a Spanish and Camino theme. The Compostela framed on the wall added a nice touch. The laundry facilities were good, with a drying area in the sun. The garden with a tranquil fountain was a perfect space for relaxation. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the small on-site shop for food. While cooking fish or meat was not permitted, we found two great bars in the nearby village for delicious meals. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and the price was extremely affordable. The location in a small, beautiful town was a welcome break between the bigger stages.
All was perfect! 😊

The small town between bigger stages was beautiful, with convenient and affordable restaurants nearby. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The back garden was absolutely beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable.
The hostel had very strict rules, which made it unwelcoming for people not doing the El Camino walk or arriving by car. The owner was quite rude and there were no keys to access the building after 10pm.

The value for my money at Albergue San Saturnino was excellent. The room was cozy with only 6 beds, and the facilities were top-notch. The location in the quiet village was perfect, and the staff were kind and helpful.
Breakfast selection could be improved by adding more variety.

The location of the hotel is conveniently close to two good bars, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or a refreshing drink. The atmosphere is friendly, with other travelers lounging on the back terrace. The facilities are clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest.
The showers are extremely small and lack a table or chair to put or hang anything on, making it inconvenient to keep your belongings organized.

We had a lovely stay at a charming albergue in a cute little town. The building was nice and the beds were comfortable, although a bit squeaky. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed lounging in the back terrace with other pilgrims. The kitchen was also available for personal use, and there were self-service laundry facilities. The toilets were clean and provided a good night's rest. I would recommend this hotel for weary pilgrims.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our xmas stay enjoyable. They provided us with all the necessary amenities and the place was well-kept. The location was also perfect, with easy access to key attractions and activities in the area. Additionally, we appreciated the special walk that was offered, giving us a unique perspective of the surroundings.
They were extremely small, making it difficult to comfortably shower. Additionally, there was a lack of hooks or tables to hang or place our belongings, forcing us to leave them on the floor and creating a cluttered space.

The decor in the albergue was charming, with a Spanish and Camino vibe. The beds were comfortable and the toilets were clean. I appreciated the small shop in the entrance where I could buy some food for a light meal. The location of the albergue was perfect for breaking up the walk between Logroño and Santo Domingo. Ventosa, the village where the albergue is located, provided a nice change of pace after the bustling city of Logroño.
That the village is quite remote, with limited options for food and amenities. the strict rules of the albergue, such as no cooking fish or meat and no access to the building after 10pm, may not be suitable for everyone.
